Thanks for purchasing the Edge v2 Corner Gaming Desk – from Play M8 Gaming.
Below you find a detailed description with video tutorials, which shows how to assemble and setup your Play M8 Edge v2 in the easiest way.

LETS GET STARTED
1. UNPACK THE PARTS
Unpack carefully the brown box with the Steel Legs, Beams, Mouse Pad – and Toolbox.
To the right, you see an overview of what the box contains and the names for each part.
2. ASSEMBLING THE BEAMS
In the brown box you have in total 4 pcs of beam parts*. First we start in assembling the 2 beams.
- Pick the two LARGE piceces of BEAMS and the METAL PLATE from the brown toolbox. Connect the LARGE beam parts together – using the METAL BEAM PLATE. Use small hexagon bolts.
- Next: Pick the two SMALL pieces of BEAM parts and the other METAL PLATE. Connect the parts together using small Hexagon Bolts.
*Don’t mix small and large beam parts.
3. INSTALL TABLETOP SUPPORTERS ON BOTH BEAMS
In the brown toolbox you also find the grey plastic Tabletop Supporters. The Tabletop Supporteres should be mounted on the small holes – on the side of the beams. Use the small metallic screws to install Tabletop Supporters on both BEAMS.
- Pick the Large BEAM – and connect the tabletop Supporters. (2 pcs)
- Pick the Small BEAM – and connect the tabletop Supporters. (3 pcs)
To get 100% stability experience, it is important to mount the Tabletop Supporters to the beams.
BEAMS ARE NOW ASSEMBLED
Lets move to the next step:
In the brown box, you have 2 pcs of Large Steel Legs – for the main desk and 1 pcs of small Steel Leg – for the corner.
4. INSTALL BEAM CONNECTOR & BEAM RIDER TO STEEL LEGS
Now it is time to install the “BEAM CONNECTOR” to all 3 Steel Legs. In the brown toolbox you finds 3 pcs of BEAM CONNECTORS.
1. Attach the BEAM CONNECTOR to each Steel Leg. Use Large Hexagon Bolts – 2 pcs. Do this on all 3 Steel Legs.
Next: Place or slide – the “BEAM RIDER” on top of the BEAM CONNECTOR – on all 3 Steel Legs.
When you are done with this task – the Steel Legs are ready to be connected to the beams.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please note that the LARGE Beam have 2 holes as shown at the picture. Make sure that the beam – with holes are placed in the side where the corner are supposed to be placed.
5. BUILDING THE STEEL FRAME
You have now: Two assembled beams. (One LARGE and one SMALL BEAM).
And you have in total 3 steel legs with Beam Connectors & Beam Riders installed.
Now its time to connect the steel legs with the beams:
- Pick the LARGE BEAM and the two large Steel Legs.
- Before installing: Make sure to install the beam with the 2 holes on the side where the corner are supposed to be installed.
- Attach the LARGE BEAM to each Steel Leg. Simply slide the BEAM over the the BEAM RIDER on the Steel Legs. (Use medium hexagon bolts – 2 pcs – each side.)

Congratulations, your Steel Frame is now assembled.
Lets move on to the next part: The Installation of Tabletops.

6. THE TABLETOPS
Carefully open the box with Tabletops.
(Don’t use a knife when you open the big brown box)
PLACE THE TABLETOPS ON YOUR FLOOR
Place the tabletops carefully on a carpet on your floor – as shown on the illustrations below:

- For Edge v2 – Right Corner: Place the tabletops on your floor – as shown on the illustration –>
If you have ordered the Edge v2 – Right Side. Then place the tabletops on your floor as shown
If you have ordered the Edge v2 – Left Side. Then place the tabletops on your floor as shown
EDGE v2 - LEFT CORNER
- For Edge v2 – Left Corner: Place the tabletops on your floor – as shown on the illustration <—
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please note that you actually can flip around the small corner tabletop for the “L” corner. This gives you the opportunity to choose where you want the Wireless Charger to be placed.
7. PLACE STEEL FRAME ON TABLETOPS
When you have placed the tabletops on the floor – then place the Steel Frame on top of the Tabletops – on your floor.
- Place the Steel Frame on top of the Tabletops on your floor.
- Adjust the Steel Frame on the tabletops.
- Now its time to mount the tabletops together using Metal Brackets. Use Selftapping screws
- Next: Mount the Steel Frame to the tabletops. Use Selftapping screws
- Remember also to mount the Tabletop Supports – to the tabletops.
- Add the Cable Tray to the Tabletops. You have the freedom to choose where you want the cable tray to be placed. (Using self tapping screws)
Make sure that all parts are connect to each other.
Play M8 recommends that 2 persons brings the desk in the right position – in your Gaming Room.
Desk Mouse Pad
If the Mouse Pad feels a little too small, you can “stretch” the mouse pad – duing the next couple of days.

INSTALL THE ACCESSORIES
Place the tabletops on a carpet on your floor – as show on below. If you have a Edge v2 – Left or Right – then please check below; how you should setup the tabletops.
USB RGB LightPack
Before installing the USB RGB LightPack. (Check our installation guide for RGB LightPacks on our support page)
- Clean the desk.
- Install the RGB LightStrip, on the backside of your Gaming Desk.
- Install the app on your phone.
- Pair the RGB controller with your phone using Bluetooth, and you are set to adjust your Gaming Setup with your preferred gaming RGB color.
Install the Headset Hanger
Install the Headset Hanger. You have the freedom to choose where exactly you want the hanger to be placed.
Install the Wireless Charger
We have pre-drilled a hole for the Wireless Charger on the corner tabletop. Simply place the charger in the hole – and connect it to your high-speed phone charger.
